A spark ignites: from driveway to dream
K&J Auto Spa & Metal Polishing, formerly K&J Polishing & Detailing, is a locally owned, husband-and-wife business founded by Kory Rathbun and Jessica J. Pease. What started nine years ago as Kory’s dedication to keeping his own dump truck in pristine condition quickly turned into a growing business when other drivers began asking for the same level of care.
With just one sander, one polisher, and a 2004 Chevy Suburban, Kory and Jessica began working evenings and weekends, offering mobile services and polishing trucks and campers right from their driveway. Their passion and attention to detail led to opening their first shop in Spooner, WI, and later relocating closer to home in Barron, WI, where the business evolved into K&J Auto Spa & Metal Polishing.
Today, we proudly offer luxury-level detailing, metal polishing, and automotive services while staying true to what built our reputation—honest work, meticulous attention to detail, and treating every vehicle like our own.
